Diploma trainee will study a Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care - CHC50121

2x Temporary Fulltime, 38 hours, 5 days per week - 24 Months

Salary: T2 -T5 $30,495.24 to $48,029.22 + 12% super

About The Role

Early Childhood Educators have a lifelong impact on children and their families! If you are interested in commencing a rewarding career in Early Childhood, then this is the position for you!

We are seeking self-motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join our educating team as a Diploma Trainee Early Childhood Educator. You will be working with a team of exceptional Educators to provide a safe, stimulating, and educational environment for all children attending the centre.

The traineeship is for a period of 2 years which will include a blend of workplace learning and formal training to gain a Diploma of Early Education and Care through the registered training organisation, TAFE NSW. The traineeship gives those wishing to commence a career in Early Childhood Education an opportunity to gain valuable skills and knowledge in high quality services that exceed National Quality Standards. You will be able to learn in a supportive workplace ensuring you are equipped with the skills and knowledge to advance in your new career.

To be able to apply for the position you must be a minimum of 16 years of age (Legislative Requirement). Candidates should already have completed Certificate III in Childcare (CHC30121 or CHC30113).

The Successful Applicant Will Have

  • Relevant work experience
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience and ability to work as a team player in a multi-disciplinary team
  • Understanding of customer focused service.
  • Experience in communicating and interacting effectively with children, parents and staff
  • Current First Aid Certificate
