Salary: £8,773 - £9,398 per year

Contract Type: Permanent

Position Type: Part Time

Hours: 12.5 hours per week

We are looking for a practitioner who is enthusiastic, able to work from their own initiative and are responsive to the needs of all children.

The successful applicant will have excellent communication skills and have the ability to build strong relationships with children, families and colleagues.

Interviews will be held in person.

Skills & Experience Required

For the role of Early Childhood Practitioner, you should hold an appropriate qualification e.g. SNNEB, NNEB, HNC, SCQF level 7 equivalent or SVQ 3 in Childcare and Education or SVQ 3 Social Services (Children and Young People, as well as have the eligibility to register with SSSC.

The ability to work in a team is essential and a flexible approach to working with young children is required.

You should have a good understanding of child development and milestones and ideally you will have experience of working within Early Years.

  • 6 days public holiday and an additional discretionary day
