Job Description:

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, implement, and supervise age-appropriate activities and learning experiences.
  • Provide nurturing care and support to meet the individual needs of each child.
  • Foster social-emotional and cognitive development, including communication skills, empathy, and self-confidence.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and stimulating learning environment.
  • Observe and document children's progress and communicate effectively with families.
  • Joint develop curriculum or assist with supervision or reporting.

Required Experience

Level 1/2: Possess a Certification as an Early Childhood Educator (ECE) Level 1/2. Minimum one year of experience in a daycare setting is preferred.

Level III: Hold a Certification as an Early Childhood Educator (ECE) Level 3. A minimum of two years of experience in a daycare setting.

All Levels:

  • A genuine passion for working with young children and fostering their development.
  • Strong understanding of child development theories and best practices in early childhood education.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to create a positive and engaging learning environment through play-based activities.
  • Commitment to building strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
  • Fluency in English and familiarity with French is a bonus.
  • Emergency child care first aid, CPR, criminal check/vulnerable sector check arerequired.
