Job description

We are seeking a part-time Early Childhood Educator at our service in Briagolong. The Educator will work across both our Kindergarten and Occasional Care programs working 41 hours per fortnight.

Uniting Early Learning offers a positive and supportive culture, training opportunities and rewarding work.

We are also considering applicants that are working towards an ACECQA recognised Diploma Early Education and Care qualification.

About you

To be successful in your application you will meet the person specification in the position description, including having a Diploma in Children’s Services (or equivalent as approved by Australian Children’s Education and Care Quality Authority) or having completed at least 50% of an Early Childhood Education and Care qualification.

You will also have :

  • An understanding and knowledge of early childhood development
  • Ability to assist in the provision of a developmentally appropriate program for the children, in partnership with other educators, families and children
  • An ability to plan, reflect, work and manage time effectively with minimal supervision
  • Reasonable knowledge and understanding of the National Law and Regulations
