Salary as of April 2025:

• $24.21/hr Licensed ECE plus $6 ECE wage enhancement
• $22.70/hr ECE Assistant
• (Additional 10.6% in lieu of vacation/sick)

Qualifications:

• Valid Early Childhood Educator or Early Childhood Educator Assistant License issued by the BC Child Care Facilities Licensing Board.
• Special Needs or Infant/Toddler License is an asset.
• Valid First Aid Certificate as per childcare licensing requirements.
• Criminal Record Review acceptable to the Centre.
• Proof of vaccination as per BC PHO for Health and Community Workers.

Experience Required:

Experience working with children and families through work or practicum experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Be a team player who collaborates effectively with other staff to provide quality childcare. Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrated through effective relationships with children, parents, and staff.
