Qualifications

  • 5 years of Early Years experience required.
  • 3 years Nursery Manager experience with multi-setting management.
  • Experience leading Ofsted audits in the last 12 months.

Responsibilities

Are you a passionate Early Years professional ready to take the next step in your career? We are a successful and expanding private nursery group looking for a dedicated Early Years Specialist to work across multiple nursery settings spanning a defined geographic area, supporting our teams to deliver outstanding care and education for children aged 0–5.

In this key role, you’ll drive consistency and quality across settings, mentor staff, and ensure every child receives the best possible start in life. No two days in this job are the same, so be prepared for a multitude of challenges to test you in every conceivable way.

Your Role Will Include:

  • Working across multiple nursery sites to support and enhance delivery of the EYFS curriculum.
  • Coaching and mentoring practitioners to develop their skills and confidence.
  • Leading on quality improvement plans and preparing settings for Ofsted inspections.
  • Supporting with training, induction, and ongoing professional development.
  • Reviewing and advising on planning, observation, and assessment to ensure best practice.
  • Championing inclusive, child-centred approaches in line with our group’s values.
  • Engaging your Local Authorities, developing effective Parent Partnerships and driving Community Engagement in each of the settings.
  • Full and relevant Level 3 or above Childcare qualification
  • Minimum of 5 years Early Years experience
  • Minimum of 3 years Nursery Manager experience with an element of multi-setting management experience.
  • Experience in leading an Ofsted audit within the last 12 months
  • Experience of successfully passing an Ofsted inspection to a Good/Outstanding rating
  • Working expertise in Safeguarding and its application in Early Years environments
  • Fluent in spoken and written English and English qualification (GCSE minimum grade C/4 or equivalent)
  • Willingness to travel regularly across nursery locations (a full UK driving licence is essential).
