Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 4:30pm
Contract: Full-Time Long-Term
Location: Royston, Hertfordshire
Salary: Paid to scale (MPS1+)

An exciting opportunity has opened up for a committed and enthusiastic ECT to join a developing SEN school in Royston, Hertfordshire. This is a full-time, long-term role that offers a supportive environment for newly qualified teachers eager to begin their careers in special educational needs.

This forward-thinking school caters to students with a range of learning difficulties and is currently expanding its Sixth Form provision. The aim is to help students build key life skills and confidence in preparation for life after education.

You'll be joining a dedicated team of professionals focused on creating a nurturing and inclusive space for all learners. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ECT looking to start their career in a school that invests in its staff and students alike.

Role Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons to students with additional needs

Support students with EHCPs (Education, Health and Care Plans)

Contribute to the growth and development of the school's Sixth Form department

Work collaboratively with SEN staff, support assistants, and external professionals

Encourage independence, communication, and life skills in learners
