Job Title: Early Careers Teacher (ECT)
Location: Doncaster
Pay Rate: Up to GBP200 per day (Depending on Experience)
Start Date: September 2025

Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are seeking motivated and enthusiastic Early Careers Teachers (ECTs) to join supportive schools in Doncaster starting this September 2025. If you're a newly qualified teacher ready to make a difference, this is the perfect opportunity to begin your teaching journey in a nurturing environment.

Role Overview:
As an Early Careers Teacher, you will have the opportunity to deliver engaging lessons, build meaningful relationships with pupils, and develop your classroom practice with guidance from experienced mentors and colleagues.

As an ECT, your responsibilities will be:

  • Plan and deliver creative and inclusive lessons in line with the curriculum.
  • Foster a safe, positive, and stimulating learning environment.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Manage classroom behaviour with confidence and care.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and parents to support pupil development.

To be an ECT, you will require:

  • An UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • A genuine passion for teaching and child development.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • Willingness to learn, grow, and contribute to school life.
  • An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
  • A CV covering the last 10 years with any employment gaps clearly explained.
