Job description

Flourish Education are recruiting committed and passionate Early Career Teachers (ECTs) to join our successful and expanding agency to work across Birmingham, Worcester and Sutton Coldfield. Whether you are looking for day-to-day, short-term or long-term work, we can help you!

Working as an Early Career Teacher (ECT) for Flourish Education, you will be expected to deliver exciting lessons to match the school's teaching and learning strategies, work alongside support staff to ensure that the needs of all pupils are met, provide feedback to pupils in line with the school's policy, communicate effectively with staff, pupils and parents, and set clear expectations for behaviour and learning in the classroom.


We can offer you a variety of work in various schools, teaching a variety of subjects across Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4), giving you valuable and a wide range of teaching experience. We can even help find you a school to support your ECT.


To apply for this Early Career Teacher (ECT) role, you will need:
  1. Experience in teaching across Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4)
  2. Hold a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and/or Early Career Teachers (ECTs)
  3. Excellent behaviour and classroom management skills
  4. Commitment
  5. A strong school reference from your recent employer/school placement
