An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Coordinator to join the Early Careers team at M&G plc.

The team manages the attraction, recruitment, development, and management of Graduates, Interns, and Apprentices, focusing on building a diverse high-caliber talent pool to shape M&G's future success.

The Early Careers Coordinator will support the delivery of activities related to recruitment and development of early career talent.

Responsibilities Include:
  1. Recruitment Support
  • Engage and communicate with prospective candidates and applicants.
  • Manage candidates throughout the recruitment process via the applicant tracking system, ensuring timely feedback and engagement.
  • Manage our Students and Apprenticeship Inbox, acting as the first point of contact and responding to queries promptly.
  • Support assessment and selection processes for Internship, Graduate, and Apprenticeship schemes.
  • Organize and facilitate Assessment Centres for final-stage candidates.
  • Contribute to our attraction strategy, including online and social media marketing, and manage relationships with external vendors for online advertising.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to prepare marketing materials and job descriptions.
  1. Programme / Events Delivery
  • Organize and deliver external and internal events, including outreach, work experience, induction, and skills sessions.
  • Assist in planning and organizing structured induction programs, managing logistics such as venues, catering, and equipment.
  • Maintain candidate and program records across databases, supporting data management.
  • Create dashboards and reports to measure program impact and respond to information requests.
  • Coordinate soft skills development activities, managing logistics and participant communications.
  • Facilitate evaluation and feedback surveys to assess program effectiveness.

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

  • A passion for early careers resourcing and development.
  • Knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (e.g., Workday).
  • Experience managing end-to-end early careers recruitment, including assessment and selection tools.
  • Strong administrative skills and excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to develop relationships with a client-focused approach.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • An adaptable, driven, and committed approach during busy periods.
  • Experience with data management and reporting dashboards.
  • Resilience and a solutions-focused mindset.
