A top London law firm is seeking a Trainee Development and Early Careers Advisor to join its Early Careers team. This people-focused role supports the development of future legal and business talent, working closely with trainees, apprentices, and internal stakeholders to ensure a smooth and enriching early career experience.

The Role

As a key member of the Early Careers team, you will play a central role in managing the trainee programme and contributing to the development of legal and business apprentices. You’ll ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and help shape the early careers strategy.

Key Responsibilities

Trainee Programme Support

  • Manage the London trainee programme in line with SRA requirements.
  • Coordinate onboarding, induction, and training for new trainees.
  • Oversee the trainee seat rotation process.
  • Manage the evaluation process, including scheduling reviews and preparing feedback summaries.
  • Conduct career development meetings with trainees and escalate concerns when necessary.
  • Support the qualification and placement of trainees into associate roles.

Early Careers Strategy

  • Contribute to the recruitment and development of:
  • Legal apprentices working toward their degrees.
  • Business apprentices in areas such as Finance, Legal Operations, and Technology.
