Job description

Vision for Education is seeking Early Career Teachers (ECTs) in and around the St Neots area to join our supply staff bank for the Summer term 2025 and beyond.

About The Role

At Vision, we have extensive experience helping ECTs gain classroom experience through supply teaching and transition into permanent roles. If you are an ECT seeking more classroom experience before taking on a permanent Class Teacher role, supply teaching is an excellent option. You will deliver pre-planned lessons to your preferred year groups and build relationships with a network of schools. Long-term and permanent roles often arise from supply placements, increasing your chances of securing a role in a familiar school.

About The School

Vision Cambridge collaborates with a diverse range of primary schools across Cambridgeshire, from small two-class schools to larger institutions with up to 28 classes. We tailor our job offers to match your preferred year groups and school types. Supply teaching is more dynamic than simply waiting for calls; it offers meaningful engagement and professional growth.

Requirements

To be considered for the Primary ECTs - Supply Teaching role, you should:

  1. Have successfully completed a PGCE, BEd, BA(QTS) course, or be in the process of completing one.
  2. Possess positive references from your final placement school and your training course.

Vision for Education is committed to safeguarding children, young people, and vulnerable adults. All staff registered with us will undergo thorough interview and reference checks and must hold, or be willing to undergo, an Enhanced DBS check registered on the Update Service.

About Vision For Education
