As an Early Career Teacher (ECT), you will have a crucial role in inspiring and supporting our students. You will be part of a collaborative and supportive teaching environment, where you will be provided with the opportunity to develop your skills, knowledge, and experience. Under the guidance of our experienced teaching staff, you will have the chance to grow in your career and become an integral part of our school community.

The responsibilities of the role are:

  • Deliver high-quality lessons to Primary students, ensuring the curriculum is engaging and accessible for all learners.
  • Plan and prepare lessons in line with the school’s curriculum, educational standards, and teaching practices.
  • Assess, monitor, and report on pupils’ progress, giving feedback to parents and carers when required.
  • establish positive relationships with students, creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities and continue to develop teaching skills.
  • Contribute to extracurricular activities, school events, and the wider school community.
