Are you a passionate and dedicated Early Career Teacher (ECT) looking to start their career in the education field, following graduation from a relevant course of study?

We have an exciting opportunity for Early Career Teachers (ECT) in Secondary Schools Across Sheffield & South Yorkshire.

Career Teachers are seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as ECTs in secondary schools across Sheffield and South Yorkshire. If you are eager to make a positive impact on young students through innovative teaching practices, this is the opportunity for you.

Role Overview:
As an Early Career Teacher, you will have the chance to gain valuable experience in a variety of secondary school settings. You will work alongside experienced educators, receive mentorship, and support, and have the opportunity to develop your teaching skills while making a difference in the lives of young learners.

Key Responsibilities as an ECT:

  • Collaborating with colleagues to plan and deliver engaging lessons that align with the primary school curriculum.
  • Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports the academic and social-emotional development of students.
  • Engaging in reflective practice and professional growth opportunities to enhance your teaching skills and classroom effectiveness.

Requirements for an ECT:

  • Recently qualified as a teacher or currently completing teacher training (PGCE, QTS, etc.)
  • Enthusiasm for teaching and a desire to learn and grow as an educator.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
