Academics partners with Early Career Teachers to place you in primary schools across Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire and Cheshire. You can work day-to-day or take on short- and long-term placements to build your teaching portfolio and gain varied experience.

We offer regular work across EYFS, KS1 and KS2, CPD opportunities, and a dedicated consultant to support you at the start of your career. Assignments are subject to safeguarding checks and DBS clearances in line with policy.

• Good behaviour management skills.
• Ability to adapt teaching to different class needs.

Academics proudly work very closely with many Early Career Teachers (ECT's) to help them find a role in a school that they are looking for.

You may work on day-to-day assignments or short-term and long-term placements; all which can enhance your teaching portfolio!

Our temporary supply opportunities are for ECT's who enjoy adaptability, variation, and the freedom to choose where and when they work.

Please be aware that your daily rate will be dependent upon experience, prior qualifications, training, and the client rate that is currently available.

We are looking for ECT's who are hardworking, dedicated and have the drive and enthusiasm to make a difference. Fresh from your training you will be able to adapt to different working environments and build excellent relationships within our schools. You will have good behaviour management skills and you will be able to adapt your teaching to the needs of the class.

Salary will be determined by the successful candidate's qualifications and relevant experience, and will be in accordance with the client's pay policy
