Early Career Teacher (ECT)

  • Early Career Teacher(ECT) role in: Wolverhampton
  • Starting date: September 2025
  • Salary: MPS1
  • Temporary Contract, ongoing position
  • Full Time Vacancy (8:30am - 4:30pm, Monday to Friday)

Early Career Teacher Specification
We are currently seeking an Early Career Teacher (ECT) to work in a supportive, two-form entry, OFSTED 'Good' school in Wolverhampton on a full-time and long-term basis. Our client is looking for an ECT to work within KS1. The successful Early Career Teacher will be supported throughout their induction period by experienced, in-school mentors, regular CPD and a school culture that focus on continuous professional growth.

Working as an ECT in our client's school, you will be expected but not limited to:

  • Plan, mark and assess differentiated lessons in line with the National Curriculum,
  • Work collaboratively with staff
  • Parents and all those in the school community
  • Attend staff meetings including CPD
  • Have high expectations of behaviour and motivate pupils through high-quality teaching and management.

Requirements:
