Early Career Teacher (ECT) - Nottingham

Are you an enthusiastic Early Career Teacher (ECT) looking to gain valuable experience across a range of schools in Nottingham? We are currently recruiting ECTs for flexible supply teaching roles starting ASAP or in the new academic year. Whether you're looking for day-to-day work or longer-term placements, we can help you build your confidence and develop your teaching career.

Location: Nottingham
Start Date: ASAP or September
Working Hours: Full-time and part-time options available
Contract Type: Supply (short-term and long-term roles)
Pay: Competitive daily rate, paid weekly

The Role:

As an ECT working on supply, you'll have the chance to:

  • Teach across a range of year groups (EYFS, KS1, KS2, or Secondary - depending on your preference)

  • Deliver pre-planned lessons and manage the classroom effectively

  • Gain experience in a variety of school settings

  • Support pupil progress and adapt your teaching to meet diverse needs

  • Build relationships with staff and pupils while growing your professional confidence

  • Explore long-term or permanent opportunities as they arise

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - suitable for ECTs

  • Strong understanding of the UK curriculum

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply for one)

  • Two professional references

  • A positive, proactive, and flexible attitude
