Job Title: Early Career Teacher
Location: Barton
Salary: £120 - £130 per day (Depending on experience)
Start: September 2025
Contract: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are looking for a motivated and passionate Early Career Teacher (ECT) to join a welcoming and supportive school in Barton. This is a fantastic opportunity to begin your teaching career in a nurturing environment that values growth, creativity, and student success.

As an ECT, you’ll be fully supported in your development while taking on your own class. You’ll deliver high-quality lessons, contribute to school life, and inspire the next generation of learners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging, inclusive, and differentiated lessons.
• Assess, track, and report on student progress in line with school and national standards.
• Create a safe, stimulating, and positive learning environment.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, mentors, and parents to support each child’s learning journey.
• Participate in CPD sessions and induction support tailored for ECTs.
• Maintain high expectations for behaviour, effort, and achievement.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – awarded or expected by September 2025.
• Strong understanding of the national curriculum.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• A genuine passion for teaching and making a difference.
• Willingness to learn, adapt, and grow in a team-orientated school setting.
• Have an enhanced DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education.
• Have an updated CV (covering the last ten years, barring any unexplained gaps).
