Job summary

A UK-based consultancy seeks an experienced EAP Tutor & International Qualifications Project Lead to lead a project mapping South Asian qualifications to UK English language entry standards. Qualifications

• Strong EAP experience (CELTA, DELTA, MA TESOL, or equivalent).
• Experience teaching or assessing non-native speakers for academic entry.
• Familiarity with CEFR, IELTS, TOEFL, PTE and global equivalents.
• Understanding of South Asian education systems.
• Excellent research and communication skills.
• Confidence working with qualification data and entry criteria.
• Experience with UKVI English language requirements.

We're working with a UK university looking for an experienced EAP specialist to lead a targeted project on mapping international qualifications - with a particular focus on South Asia - to UK English language entry standards.

This is a great opportunity for someone who understands EAP, CEFR levels, and international education systems, and who enjoys turning complex qualification data into clear, usable admissions guidance.

You will:

• Map non-UK (especially South Asian) qualifications to CEFR/IELTS/UK university entry levels
• Analyse how English proficiency is demonstrated in overseas school and university qualifications
• Work with admissions and academic teams to recommend country-specific entry guidance
• Review and document English language evidence, including MOI and national qualifications
• Produce a clear framework for English language requirements across key countries
• Advise on applying UKVI, UK ENIC and university-specific policies to non-UK applicants
• Support internal training and documentation related to international English language admissions

What we're looking for:
