Job Description:

Salary range £26,000 to £30,000 based on full-time hours of 37.5. Part-time hours will be pro-rata salary.

We are looking for fully qualified Counsellor/Psychotherapists to join us on a part-time basis and are delighted to offer this exciting opportunity to join our EAP Clinical Team.

You will be:

  • Carrying out Initial Clinical Assessments/Triage of client needs, leading to appropriate clinical pathways, delivering support via Booked Assessment Appointments, In The Moment Support, or Booked Single Sessions through telephone and/or video calls.
  • Performing Risk Assessments and following Safeguarding and Risk Protocols.
  • Managing a caseload of clients requiring Structured Counselling, depending on your contractual hours and service needs.
  • Writing brief, accurate, and concise clinical notes of all interactions.
  • Being an integral part of our Support Line Team.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 3 full days per week, with at least 1 day based in-office in Glasgow (mandatory). For example, 3 full days could be 1 day in-office, 1 remote, and 1 weekend shift.
  • Part-time salary is pro-rata.
  • Availability to cover at least 1 weekend (7.5 hours) and 1 overnight sleeping shift per month.
  • Minimum of 300+ clinical hours of experience.
  • Qualified as a Counsellor/Psychotherapist (Level 4 and above in Counselling) with BACP or similar registration.
  • Proficient in IT with good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Strong clinical background with excellent assessment skills.
  • Ability to make sound clinical decisions while maintaining boundaries.
  • Team-player with excellent time management, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure, considering client and service needs.
  • Previous experience in EAP/telephone counselling or time-limited assessments, ideally in a corporate setting.
  • Participation in a full induction training program via Microsoft Teams.
