Job summary

Kids Planet Great Boughton is seeking an Early Years Apprentice to join our Chester area team. You will be enrolled on a training programme through the Kids Planet Training Academy to gain a qualification in Early Years.

As part of our supportive group, you’ll benefit from accredited training, enhanced leave, wellbeing rewards, and a friendly central support team while working in a welcoming setting focused on caring for children and families.

Qualifications

• Minimum apprenticeship eligibility criteria, including having lived in the UK for a minimum of 3 years.
• Pass maths and English entry assessments.

Responsibilities

• Learn to support, care for, and inspire children from birth to age five.
• Help safeguard children in your care and work as part of a team.
• Build warm, trusting relationships with families through open communication.
• Engage with parents on matters relating to the children’s development.

We're now looking for an Early Years Apprentice to join our team, someone who's ready to get stuck in, spark imaginations, and help children thrive. As an Early Years Apprentice, you will be enrolled on to a training programme through the Kids Planet Training Academy to gain a qualification in Early Years.

How you'll make a difference as an Early Years Apprentice:

What an Early Years Apprentice needs:

• To meet minimum apprenticeship eligibility criteria, including having lived in the UK for a minimum of 3 years.
• To pass maths and English entry assessments.

As a guide, Level 2 apprenticeships take approximately 15 months to complete, and Level 3 apprenticeships take approximately 18 months to complete.

A Disclosure and Barring Service Certificate is mandatory for all positions, and this role will be subject to enhanced checks as part of our safeguarding duties.
