Job summary

Kids Planet Kirkby is seeking an Early Years Apprentice to join our caring team. You’ll be enrolled on a training programme through the KP Academy to gain a qualification in Early Years and start making a positive impact with children from birth to age five.

This entry-level role is based on-site in Kirkby, Liverpool, with ongoing training, DBS safeguarding commitments, and a supportive team dedicated to helping children thrive and families feel confident.

Qualifications

• Meet minimum apprenticeship eligibility criteria, including having lived in the UK for a minimum of 3 years.
• To pass maths and English entry assessments.

Responsibilities

• Support, care for and inspire children from birth to age five.
• Learn safeguarding practices for children in care.

We’re now looking for an Early Years Apprentice to join our team, someone who’s ready to get stuck in, spark imaginations, and help children thrive. As an Early Years Apprentice, you will be enrolled on to a training programme through the Kids Planet Training Academy to gain a qualification in Early Years.

What an Early Years Apprentice needs:

As a guide, Level 2 apprenticeships take approximately 15 months to complete, and Level 3 apprenticeships take approximately 18 months to complete.
