A vibrant independent school is seeking an EAL Instructor/Teacher to deliver intensive Academic English instruction to international students. The successful candidate will support student integration into the British Boarding School culture and engage learners through tailored lessons both on-site and online, beginning September 2025. Accommodation may be available for those taking on additional boarding responsibilities.

St Joseph’s College is delighted to welcome applications for the post of EAL Instructor/ Teacher. We are looking to appoint enthusiastic, committed and well organised individuals who will support our international students with intensive teaching of Academic English to facilitate their access to our mainstream curriculum and their induction into British Boarding School Culture. The curriculum delivery may sit outside of the traditional school timetable.

As an EAL (English as an Additional Language) Instructor/ Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality English language instruction to learners both in online and face-to-face settings. Whilst most of your teaching will be delivered on site and face to face, some of your teaching may well be delivered online to our international partner schools, this will require some flexibility regarding starting hours. Above all, irrespective as to delivery, your role is to create engaging lessons that cater to students' language proficiency levels and facilitate their language development effectively.

The successful candidates to start from September 2025. Accommodation may be available subject to the undertaking of additional boarding responsibilities.
