Job Description:

Position Scope

Provide effective maintenance services to all plant/equipment in refining and packing areas, focusing on improving plant availability and reliability.

Responsibilities:

• Meet or exceed all health, safety, quality, and environmental targets.
• Perform plant isolations.
• Maintain mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems in various plant sections.
• Carry out reactive maintenance as needed.
• Follow maintenance plans and schedules.
• Plan and prioritize workload with the Area Maintenance Leader.
• Coordinate plant inspections and complete improvement projects when possible.
• Supervise maintenance activities, contractors, and resources.
• Manage SAP maintenance system for budgeting, inventory, and reliability analysis.
• Provide high-tension electrical cover if trained.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement modifications to improve reliability.
• Estimate costs and generate capital requests for projects.
• Participate in all stages of capital projects, including installation and commissioning.
• Engage with suppliers and conduct audits when required.
• Mentor and train team members on engineering and maintenance practices.
• Measure plant reliability via uptime, OEE, and lost opportunities.
• Demonstrate problem-solving skills and multi-skilled engineering capabilities.
• Adhere to health, safety, and environmental procedures.

Essential Experience:

• Maintenance experience in an automated continuous process environment, including PLC or high-tension systems.
• Knowledge of predictive and preventive maintenance techniques.

Educational Requirements:

• Preferably HNC/NVQ 4 or BTEC/ONC in an engineering discipline.
