The Global WSP Real Estate portfolio includes over 1,000 leases across 59 countries, totaling more than 9 million rentable square feet. This active portfolio is guided by a strategic framework influencing regional and global decisions.

Global Workplace is a strategic partner with all WSP Business Services. Its focus is to create an environment that attracts and retains top talent by enabling productive, collaborative, and enjoyable workspaces, while ensuring fiscal responsibility, flexible programs, and innovative design.

The team also supports WSP's Environment, Social, and Governance (ESG) standards and goals.

The VP of Global Workplace Strategy reports to the Senior Global Leader of Global Workplace and supports them in delivering value through insights, expanding frameworks, and implementing solutions aligned with WSP’s social, corporate, and environmental objectives.

  • Contribute to developing WSP’s workplace strategy to attract and retain top talent while managing costs and delivering value.
  • Collaborate with regional leaders in Corporate Real Estate (CRE), Facilities, and Administration to support overall company goals.
  • Coordinate between CRE Project and Facility Management teams to optimize performance, working with IT, Procurement, Finance, and HR.
  • Create value propositions within workplace parameters.
  • Maintain reports on Global CAPEX, OPEX, and rent, ensuring alignment with strategic plans.
  • Develop and implement policies for efficient CRE project delivery.
  • Support business strategy and collaborate with other global partners for integrated solutions.
  • Assist M&A activities with due diligence and post-acquisition integration.
  • Standardize solutions and tools for the Workplace Team.
  • Manage Delegation of Authority approvals.
What We Will Be Looking For You To Demonstrate…
  • Deep knowledge of real estate transactions, market reviews, portfolio management, and broker relations.
  • Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Experience with asset sales, construction management (including FF&E, IT, A/V), and facilities management (security, maintenance, insourcing/outsourcing).
  • Design knowledge for flexible workplaces and the ability to adapt to operational shifts.
  • Understanding of organizational structure, KPIs for CRE & FM, and the ability to lead diverse teams.
  • Willingness and ability to travel and work across cultures.
Desired Qualifications
  • MBA or BS in CRE management or related field (asset).
  • Membership in professional bodies such as CoreNet or IFMA.
  • Experience managing large refurbishment programs and property negotiations.
  • Knowledge of industry best practices, market trends, and financial analysis.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity, build networks, and prioritize multiple projects.
  • Excellent communication skills and a customer-centric approach.
