Corporate Estate Manager – 12 Month FTC – London – Up to £55,000 Per Annum + Car Allowance

An immediate requirement has arisen for a Commercial Estate Manager to join a leading property consultancy in London on a 12-month Fixed Term Contract. The role involves managing a high-profile estate in London, offering up to £55,000 per annum plus a car allowance. You will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of a commercial property portfolio, including property inspections, tenant liaison, and lease management.

The Role:

  • Manage property inspections, tenant relations, lease administration, budgeting, and coordinate maintenance to ensure properties are compliant, attractive, and operationally efficient.
  • Oversee a portfolio of commercial properties, ensuring high standards of maintenance and tenant satisfaction.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and ensure compliance with health & safety and legal requirements.
  • Develop and manage service charge budgets; oversee expenditures and ensure cost efficiency.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with tenants; respond promptly to inquiries and issues.
  • Manage lease events such as rent reviews, lease renewals, and dilapidations, collaborating with legal teams and agents.
  • Oversee facilities and maintenance contractors, ensuring timely and high-quality service delivery.
  • Prepare reports for clients and senior management, providing insights and recommendations.

Skills Required:

  • Proven experience in commercial property/estate management.
  • Strong knowledge of landlord and tenant legislation, service charge budgeting, and property compliance.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple properties and tasks effectively.
  • Proficient in property management software and MS Office Suite.
  • MRICS qualification (or working towards) is desirable but not essential.
