Fruit Buyer – FTC / Fresh Produce

Our Client is a unique Fresh Produce business, sourcing product to supply an alternative and exclusive product range to the UK market. We currently require a Fresh Produce Buyer to work within this passionate business and further develop company growth for a period of 12 months.

The successful Fruit Buyer will join the business in a key buying position, working with growers/suppliers to ensure a consistent supply of seasonal product, meeting the required quality and remaining competitive, with an effective approach to P&L and gross margins.

Responsibilities:

1. Experience as a Fresh Produce Buyer (Fruit) is essential
2. Sourcing local and imported product
3. Supply Chain management
4. Confident & personable
5. Ability to negotiate
