Primary Phase Teacher

Contract Type: Full-Time, Temporary
Location: Brockenhurst
Salary: £160 to £250 dependent on experience*
Start Date: September '25 until July '26 (Maternity Cover)

Who are you?

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) essential
  • Proven ability to plan, teach, and assess effectively in a primary setting
  • Strong understanding of child development and the National Curriculum
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills
  • A positive, reflective, and resilient approach to teaching and learning
  • Experience teaching across multiple key stages (EYFS, KS1, or KS2) desirable
  • Knowledge of inclusive practices and strategies to support SEND/EAL learners desirable

  • Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
  • Create a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment where all children feel valued and supported.
  • Use a range of assessment methods to monitor progress and inform next steps in learning.
  • Maintain high expectations for pupil behaviour, progress, and attainment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and parents/carers to ensure the best outcomes for all pupils.
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school, including extracurricular activities, school events, and enrichment opportunities.
  • Promote safeguarding and the welfare of all children in line with school policy.
