Responsibilities

1. Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Science lessons in alignment with the curriculum
2. Develop and implement effective teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students
3. Assess student progress and provide timely feedback to students and parents
4. Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student participation and active learning
5. Collaborate with colleagues to create interdisciplinary learning experiences and enhance the overall educational program
6. Stay up-to-date with developments in the field of Science education and incorporate innovative teaching techniques into the curriculum
7. Attend staff meetings, professional development sessions, and parent-teacher conferences as required

Minimum Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree in Science or a related field
2. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
3. Proven experience teaching Science in a primary or secondary school setting
4. Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment frameworks
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
6. Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential
7. Well-organized, with strong planning and time management skills
8. Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying abreast of best practices in Science education
