The role
As a Senior Commissioning Engineer, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You’ll conduct the role of shift manager, leading a team of Commissioning Engineers and industrial staff who will be carrying out commissioning activities on the most complex machines on the planet.
In preparation for their role, successful candidates will undertake a comprehensive training programme; we will train and develop you to become a subject matter expert in commissioning and submarine systems.
Day-to-day, you’ll be supporting commissioning activities to ensure the systems perform to the highest standards of safety in your discipline (Mechanical, Electrical or Constructive (Naval Architecture)).
This role is full time, 35 hours per week and is based on site at Devonport Royal Dockyard.

The successful candidate must be a sole UK national who is able to achieve and maintain Naval Nuclear Propulsion Information (NNPPI) security clearance for this role.
