Position: Housekeeping and Laundry Assistant (Part-time, Fixed Term Contract)

Location: Grosvenor Manor Care Centre, Great Boughton, Chester

Role Overview: We seek a kind, motivated, and organized Housekeeping and Laundry Assistant to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene within the home. The role involves general cleaning, laundry duties, and adhering to safety guidelines.

Contract Details: 30 hours per week, with an hourly rate of £10.75. Shift times are 0800-1400, with alternate weekends off.

Responsibilities:

1. Complete daily and weekly cleaning schedules and sign necessary paperwork.
2. Follow guidance from the Head Housekeeper.
3. Contribute to the home's housekeeping standards.
4. Perform general cleaning and laundry duties as delegated.
5. Ensure a hazard-free working environment and operate cleaning equipment safely.
6. Promote and safeguard the welfare of residents and staff.

Skills and Experience:

1. Previous non-domestic cleaning experience and care setting experience are beneficial.
2. Ability to operate cleaning equipment.
3. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and document comments.
4. Effective communication with team members.
5. Reliability and trustworthiness.
