Do you want to lead a tax compliance team and manage your own portfolio? Experience with personal tax compliance?

I'm currently working with a leading Top 20 accountancy firm in Manchester who are looking to bring in a Personal Tax Manager to form part of their newly created personal tax team.

Due to firm wide growth and strategy, this new role will see you manage a team of personal tax staff whilst delivering on some of the more complex compliance.

Your new role as Personal Tax Manager:

Joining a well-established personal tax team that provide services to a range of HNWIs and directors you will manage your own portfolio of clients across the UK.

• Run & manage your own personal tax compliance portfolio dealing directly with clients and other key internal and external stakeholders.
• You will support your client base with tax planning services including capital gains, inheritance tax planning and wider succession planning to name a few. Planning / advisory work will be assigned depending on your experience and skillset.
• Review and manage personal tax work of more junior members of staff within the personal tax team.

What will you need to be successful?

• To be successful in the role you need to come from a strong personal tax background, having previous experience managing a personal tax portfolio in the UK.
• You will need to ATT / CTA / ACA / ACCA qualified.
• Tax compliance experience is important for the role with any tax planning experience or dealing with trusts/ inheritance tax a bonus.
