Position: Field Service Engineer, Laboratory Diagnostic Systems

Salary: Basic Salary £50,000

The Role

Following expansion, we are seeking a technically motivated and customer-focused Field Service Engineer responsible for:

  1. Servicing and repairing a wide range of sophisticated medical and laboratory diagnostics systems used within pathology departments, NHS laboratories, and clinical chemistry environments.
  2. Visiting customer sites to troubleshoot and provide valuable solutions.
  3. Liaising with external contacts, including laboratory managers and technicians from NHS and private scientific organizations.
Your Background

To succeed in this role, you must demonstrate:

  • A competent background as a field service engineer or technical support engineer with extensive experience working on high-value capital equipment.
  • A qualification in electronics.
  • Experience working on diagnostic systems, medical devices, laboratory systems, scientific equipment, or similar high-value electronic/electromechanical equipment is desirable but not essential, as full product training will be provided.
