Leaders In Care are looking for an experienced Child Exploitation (Adolescents) Social Worker to join one of our councils in the channel islands. In this role, you will work with Children in Need of help and protection, including those at risk of criminal exploitation. This council is committed to safeguarding children and young people from violence, gang involvement, and all forms of exploitation.

The council takes a proactive approach to tackling criminal exploitation through education, early intervention, and multi-agency collaboration, helping young people make safer choices and transition into adulthood successfully.

Essential Criteria:

  • Qualified Social Worker (Degree in Social Work or equivalent)
  • Registered with Social Work England (or equivalent regulatory body)
  • Experience in child protection, safeguarding, or working with vulnerable adolescents
  • Strong knowledge of criminal exploitation, county lines, and contextual safeguarding
