Senior Pensions Administrator – DB Schemes

Responsibilities:
  1. Provide technical Pensions Administration services to a portfolio of clients, calculate, and make payments of scheme benefits.
  2. Train new members of staff and help mentor and develop their knowledge and understanding.
  3. Check and authorise other team members’ work.
  4. Apply benefit structures, trust deed & rules, and pensions legislation.
  5. Provide support to the Administration Manager, helping the department meet deadlines.
  6. Undertake project management work.
  7. Handle queries from HMRC and DWP. Liaise confidently with clients, scheme actuaries, and other third parties.
  8. Ensure compliance checking is maintained and the team works to legislative requirements.
  9. Answer technical queries from members by phone, e-mail, and letter.
