Job description

Your Responsibilities

As a Logistics Planner (m/f/d), you will be responsible for ensuring efficient logistics processes, optimizing workflows, and managing logistics-related projects.

Your key tasks will include:

  • Reviewing customer logistics concepts
  • Planning required personnel and equipment
  • Cost calculation of existing processes and logistics concepts
  • Developing, evaluating, and implementing process optimizations, concepts, and continuous improvement initiatives (KVPs)
  • Introducing, expanding, and utilizing KPI systems for project monitoring and operational management
  • Creating documentation related to planning and proof of compliance
  • Maintaining customer and supplier relationships through phone and in-person communication
  • Procurement of services and investment goods such as plant equipment and vehicle fleets
  • Preparing and conducting presentations for customers, suppliers, service providers, and management
  • Planning and executing projects while considering customer requirements
  • Monitoring project progress and ensuring compliance with project specifications
  • Reporting disruptions and deviations in processes to supervisors

Strategic Tasks:

  • Monitoring industry developments within the area of expertise
  • Developing and optimizing logistics processes
  • Ensuring data protection and information security when handling sensitive information

Your Profile

Education:

  • Degree in technical or business-related studies or equivalent qualification
  • Further training in logistics or project management is desirable

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Solid business administration knowledge
  • Expertise in project management, process analysis, and optimization
  • Logistics experience, preferably in the automotive and transport logistics sector
  • Proficiency in technical drawing software (e.g., MS Visio, AutoCAD) is a plus
  • Understanding of relevant legal and regulatory requirements
  • Knowledge of ISO/TS 16949 standards and customer-specific requirements
  • Strong English language skills (written & spoken)
  • Proficiency in MS Office and basic IT knowledge
  • Familiarity with MTM (Methods-Time Measurement) procedures

Work Experience:

  • Previous experience in material management, logistics, or transport from education or professional practice
  • Preferred experience in the automotive and transport logistics industry

Your Responsibilities in the Organization:

  • Supporting logistics planning management
  • Planning and calculating existing and new processes
  • Assisting in the implementation of logistics concepts and projects on the shop floor
  • Managing procurement of services, equipment, and technical facilities for projects
  • Leading sub-projects and reporting results
  • Ensuring compliance with occupational safety regulations
  • Maintaining quality management (QM) system adherence
  • Ensuring proper use and maintenance of provided work materials
