The City of Liverpool College is looking for Bank Lecturers to join our dynamic and forward-thinking School of Creative Arts & Fashion. We offer exciting opportunities for experienced individuals in Art and Design, Fashion Design, Fashion Business, Costume, Graphic Design, and Photography.

We’re seeking professionals who can inspire and motivate the next generation of creatives, offering a variety of innovative and cutting-edge programmes from Level 1 to Degree. Whether your expertise lies in the design process, digital media, fashion production, or visual storytelling, we want you to help shape the future of Art & Design, Fashion Design, Fashion Business, Costume, Graphic Design, or Photography.

Key Responsibilities

As a Bank Lecturer, you will:

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

Essential Criteria:
1. Level 2 qualification in Maths/numeracy and English/literacy
2. Good knowledge of ICT, able to support technology-based learning activities
3. Level 4 qualification e.g. Degree or equivalent
4. Previous experience in an educational environment
5. A personal ambition to develop and progress within Further Education

Desirable Criteria:
1. General awareness of safeguarding and equality, diversity and inclusivity
2. Ability to build and form good relationships with learners across all college provision
3. Ability to utilise strategies to support learners in achieving learning goals
4. Ability to complete accurate learner records within college systems and specified timescales
5. Ability to provide detailed feedback regarding learner progress and achievement
6. Ability to encourage learners to interact with others and engage in activities led by a teacher
