Job Description

Provide efficient clerical support to all employees within the establishment and assist in delivering effective front-line service to users. Contribute to the promotion, delivery, and integration of the Council's key objectives, specifically relating to the Community Plan, Shared Commitments, Single Outcome Agreement, and Best Value.

Requirements

The role involves regulated work with children and/or protected adults, as specified in the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Successful applicants will need to become a PVG Scheme member or undergo a Scheme Record Update before a formal employment offer is made. PVG records are regularly updated, and any relevant information disclosed will be discussed with the applicant prior to employment.

The Individual

This is a temporary part-time position based at Bellsbank ECC, Bellsbank, working 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 1:00 pm - 6:00 pm, under the direction of the Line Manager. The full-time salary range is £24,333 - £25,353 per annum, with the part-time equivalent being £17,381 - £18,109 per annum. This position is not term-time only.
