This is a fantastic opportunity to join our Level 3 Pharmacy Technician (integrated) apprenticeship where you will gain hands on experience across a range of pharmacy service areas. Training will be completed through a combination of traditional academic learning where you will be supported by a tutor to complete the theoretical and academic assessments and work-based learning where you will gain practical experience and develop professional skills and behaviours.
Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, you will gain a formal professional qualification and be eligible to register with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) as a Pharmacy Technician.

Main duties of the jobThis post is based at either Musgrove Park Hospital or Yeovil District Hospital with allocated protected study time (in line with apprenticeship requirements). Throughout your training you will rotate into different areas of the department including Dispensary, Ward Distribution and Aseptic Services (MPH only) and spend time on the wards within the Medicines Optimisation rotation.
