About the Role

As a Sous Chef, you'll support the Head Chef, leading and engaging the kitchen team to deliver excellent service across 14 shifts per week. Your responsibilities include leading shifts, ensuring the kitchen operates effectively and safely, managing stocks, health & safety, hygiene, and maintaining 5-star kitchen standards.

What You Bring

• Experience as a Sous Chef or similar role, ready to advance your career
• Experience with fresh ingredients and strong kitchen skills (food prep, hygiene, knife skills)
• A proactive work ethic, leading from the front and maintaining high standards
• Relentless drive to overcome challenges
• Knowledge of KPIs, decision-making in absence of Head Chef, labour, stock, and safety requirements
• Excellent communication skills for stakeholder management and rapport building
• Knowledge of rota scheduling, sales, labour forecasting, reporting, recruitment, and HR
• Experience in training and recruiting kitchen staff, including apprentices and junior chefs
