Job Description:

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide holistic daily care for residents, including personal care, mobility assistance, medication management, infection control, dementia support, end-of-life care, and managing supplies and equipment.
  • Collaborate with volunteers, Wellbeing Coordinator, and therapy teams to facilitate meaningful activities.
  • Build relationships with residents and stakeholders, including maintaining a key worker relationship with residents.
  • Assist with nutrition, serving drinks, and helping with eating and drinking.
  • Maintain accurate records related to care and regulatory standards.
  • Participate actively in handovers, team meetings, and supervision sessions.

Qualifications and Other Skills
  • Level 2 in Care or equivalent experience for Senior Care Assistants.
  • Ability to provide dignified personal care, including nutrition, bathing, and toileting.
  • Educated to GCSE level or equivalent, including Math and English.
  • Proficiency with IT, Word, and Email.
  • Understanding of older adults’ needs and dementia.
  • Experience working with older people, those with disabilities, or dementia.
  • Experience in a care setting such as a nursing home or hospital.
  • Knowledge of first aid, manual handling, and hygiene practices.
  • Awareness of relevant regulations and standards, with training provided.

Pay: £12.43 per hour plus enhancements where applicable

Hours: Full-time and part-time roles, including alternate weekends
