Job description

Position at Ezra

Job Role: Technical Product Manager

Location: London (Hybrid, 3 days in Old Street Office)

Who we are

Imagine what even the world’s most exceptional organizations could achieve if all their employees were coached to be their absolute best. At EZRA, we’re on a mission to do just that. We believe that through professional coaching, people get to know themselves and their goals, weaknesses, and hang-ups. Once they know all that, they can build on the good stuff and work on the rest.

This mindset applies not only to our clients but is also reflected in our own EZRA family. We believe a happy team is a productive team. We want our people to care about and be proud of what they do.

The Role

Reporting into the VP of Product Management, you'll determine and oversee the delivery of the strategy and roadmap for products to achieve business outcomes and financial objectives. Your responsibilities include coordinating with technology, business, and financial stakeholders to set priorities; managing new development and operations; and providing direction and oversight to product teams.

What You'll Do
  1. Develop a deep understanding of business goals and processes to inform product priorities and improvement recommendations.
  2. Shape the product strategy, plan, and prioritize needs, working closely with product stakeholders and customers.
  3. Oversee the release of complex, highly technical features and functionality.
  4. Work with our partners and clients on API and other technical integration projects.
  5. Perform customer research (surveys, analytics, market research, interviews, hackathons, online forums, etc.) to gain insight into the voice of the customer. Use this insight to define customer segments and understand their goals.
  6. Facilitate alignment among stakeholders through research, shaping a product strategy and roadmap that supports company goals. This includes selecting release plans for prototypes, MVPs, and subsequent releases, while remaining adaptable to agile changes.
  7. Monitor business, market, and technology trends to inform strategy and propose new solutions.
  8. Translate business requirements into actionable product and technical requirements.
  9. Monitor and evaluate product performance and champion improvements.
  10. Guide the engineering team to scope, plan, and deliver work, applying best practices.
  11. Resolve blockers to achieve product objectives, including technical and resourcing challenges.
  12. Ensure adherence to corporate, financial, and IT standards (architecture, compliance, security).
  13. Increase adoption and consumption of product capabilities.
  14. Manage investment decisions and finances, taking a return-on-investment approach to maximize value and minimize costs.
  15. Define, track, and communicate KPIs.
About you
  1. 5+ years of product management experience working on complex, technical products.
  2. A strong technical background, with the ability to understand and communicate complex technical requirements.
  3. Expertise in defining and building enterprise-level SaaS solutions with an agile release process (experience with API-based or AI solutions is desirable).
  4. Experience overseeing software development projects and estimating resource needs.
  5. Experience leveraging data to inform decisions.
  6. Adequate understanding of partner and client needs.
