Role Overview

This role offers an exciting opportunity to conduct basic research and assist the Project Lead with two projects funded by the Dawes Trust:

  • Law Enforcement Responses to Fraud
  • Fraud on the Socials: Exploring Young people’s Understandings and Experiences of Online Fraud and the Implications for Policy and Practice

The position is for 13 months, part-time at 17.5 hours/week (0.5 FTE), with a salary of £19,222 per year. It provides an excellent chance to develop research skills, especially in applied methods, and to deepen understanding of the growing issue of fraud in the UK and globally.

Salary and Benefits

Contract Details

Fixed-term, part-time (17.5 hours/week), with hybrid working and occasional in-person meetings and fieldwork. Applications close on 2 June 2025, with interviews scheduled for 12 June 2025.
