About

We’re partnering with a global leader in pharmaceutical and nutritional innovation to recruit a Formulation Development Scientist. This is a hands-on, lab-based role where you’ll contribute to developing cutting-edge oral dosage forms. You will support product innovation, customer projects, and applications development, working within a collaborative technical team. About The Role

As a Formulation Development Scientist, you will be part of a specialist team focused on solid oral dosage form innovation. Your responsibilities include creating and testing prototype formulations, evaluating new excipients, and generating technical data to support customer applications and internal innovation. You will also support educational events, present findings, and ensure laboratory standards are maintained.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and test formulations for tablets and capsules from lab scale to production.
  2. Support customer projects within the Formulation Centre of Excellence or regional labs.
  3. Collaborate on innovation projects and contribute to new product development.
  4. Generate technical reports and present findings to stakeholders.
  5. Operate and maintain lab and analytical equipment adhering to safety and quality standards.
  6. Contribute to training, demonstrations, and technical education events.
  7. Manage lab materials and consumables.

Salary, Benefits & Location

Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 (dependent on experience)

Bonus: 6% target annual bonus
