Ready to make a splash in your career? We're on the lookout for enthusiastic Glasgow Life Assistants (Pool Lifeguards) to join our dynamic Glasgow Life Sport team on permanent part-time 10-hour contracts, working weekends across our sport venues.

You'll have the chance to inspire the people of Glasgow to lead more active, healthier lives - all while enjoying fantastic benefits and building a rewarding career. We offer a competitive salary starting at £13.35 /hour (additional payment for weekend and evening working may be apply).

What You'll Do:
As a Glasgow Life Assistant (Pool Lifeguard), you'll be the heart of our sports venues, providing excellent customer service to swimmers and visitors at our sports venues. Your job will be split between supervision of the pool, reception duties (answering calls and queries, using the booking and payment system greeting customers) and maintaining a high cleanliness standard of the sport centre. You'll also help set up for activities and events.

What We're Looking For:
Confident swimming ability (able to achieve a timed 100m swim & deep dive).
Existing pool lifeguard qualification OR willingness to achieve the STA Pool Lifeguard qualification within 12 weeks (training provided by Glasgow Life).
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work within a team environment
Experience of working with the public

Role Details
Part-time: 10 hours per week, Saturday or Sunday . Shifts will be 0830 hours to 1830 hours.
Our city-wide teams support venues across Glasgow as required, but everyone has a primary venue. Work at one of our fantastic pool venues across Glasgow: Castlemilk, North Woodside, Drumchapel, Pollok and Easterhouse (dependant on available vacancies).
