Project Manger - Utility Scale Battery Storage

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager based in the UK to oversee the successful delivery of a pipeline of US-based energy storage projects for a leading player in the renewable energy sector.

This role involves steering projects from acquisition through construction, commissioning, and operation phases, ensuring they meet commercialisation targets.

As Project Manager, you will act as a pivotal liaison among various stakeholders including contractors, consultants, grid operators, planning authorities, and landowners to facilitate smooth project execution.

You will be responsible for:

1. Developing project timelines
2. Managing costs
3. Identifying and mitigating risks
4. Ensuring projects are delivered on schedule

You will play a crucial role in major project phase transitions and be actively involved in tendering activities, contract preparation, and the management of project documentation.

The successful candidate will possess experience in managing utility-scale renewable energy projects, with a deep understanding of battery energy storage systems and grid compliance.

The position offers a remote working arrangement with occasional travel to construction sites within the United States.
