Cerise Healthcare is recruiting for exceptional Healthcare Assistants to work with our client, providers of support to Older People in their Supported Living Services in Barnsley.

Cerise Healthcare's Healthcare Assistants understand the importance of enabling service users to lead an independent life. Providing person-centred care, they actively enhance the service users' lifestyle and promote respect and dignity.

Healthcare Assistants will assist service users with all aspects of their lives where they require assistance, which could include:

• Personal Care
• Managing challenging behaviour
• Assisting with finances
• Prompting/assisting with medication
• Assisting with cooking
• Helping with household chores
• Meeting friends/attending social events
• Accessing the community

This role would suit Healthcare Assistants who have prior experience working with Older People. Previous experience of personal care is required. All Healthcare Assistants must have recent UK-based healthcare experience.

While working as part of a team, there are also opportunities for lone working within some services. Cerise Healthcare requires that all our workers have recent UK-based healthcare experience.

Cerise Healthcare offers both full and part-time positions with flexible hours.

Healthcare Assistants must be able to work independently, be patient, and adaptable to the changing needs of service users. Cerise Healthcare asks that all Healthcare Assistants:

• Have a good understanding of written and verbal English
• Possess basic numeracy skills
• Have a current DBS on the update service (or be willing to undertake one)
• Have recent UK-based health or social care experience
• Are punctual and reliable
• Have knowledge of Safeguarding of Vulnerable Adults (SOVA)
