The Role

Hours

Vacancy 1

1 PA Required

Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri:

Total 7 hours per week.

Morning call 45mins from 7.30am

Lunch call between 1pm-2pm for 30mins

Tea call between 4.30-5.30pm for 30mins

All support calls on these days PA will double up with current PA as 2nd carer. Potential to take hours from vacancy 2.

2 PA's Required

Wed, Sat, Sun.

Total of 6.75 hrs per week for each PA.

Morning call 45min from 7.30am

Lunch call between 1pm-2pm for 30mins

Tea call between 4.30-5.30pm for 30mins

Evening call from 8.30pm for 30mins

PA's are not required to drive client anywhere as support is for personal care tasks and moving and handling only.

PA tasks: Support with personal care tasks, bathing, toileting. Client transfers with rotunda on a good day but a hoist is used on other days. Moving and handling experience preferred, but training can be provided.

Client has access to wheelchair.

Client interests/hobbies: Client enjoys going to football matches - Leicester City and North Kilworth.

Enjoys visiting antique fairs and shops.

Clients' relevant diagnosis: Secondary Progressive Multiple Sclerosis (MS).

Left sided weakness in arms and legs, poor grip, all related to MS.

Vision impairment of left eye.
