About the Team:

The Project Management Function is responsible for the overall relationship management of client accounts and day-to-day activities. The function also ensures that Medidata is able to deliver quality projects and services on time and within budget through effective management of Medidata resources.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead project delivery to ensure that all deliverables are tracked and that documentation is current.
2. Manage client expectations and communications, and ensure overall client satisfaction.
3. Manage project scope, timelines, budget, and milestones.
4. Manage project financials including forecasting, project budget, and accuracy of invoicing.
5. Create and maintain accurate and current project documentation.
6. Raise and track work requests to other departments.
7. Document minutes/action items during client and internal meetings; conduct appropriate follow-up.
8. Manage issues and risks, driving appropriate resolution and mitigation.
9. Provide proactive communication to all stakeholders.
10. Assure compliance with Medidata's standard project management methodologies and quality management system.
11. Support development of sales orders and change orders.
12. Deliver workshops and lead client meetings.

Qualifications:

1. Knowledge of Medidata (or similar) products, commensurate with the requirements of the specific role.
2. Preference for a basic understanding of clinical research (pharma/device/biotech) and of clinical research SaaS technology.
3. Good verbal/written communication and organizational skills.
4. Strong time management skills, along with collaboration and teamwork abilities.
5. Experience leading project teams and meeting project timelines.
6. Self-motivated and able to assume responsibility professionally.
7. Basic computer skills.
8. Experience with MS Office and/or other current software technologies.
9. Experience creating and delivering presentations.
10. 4-year college degree or equivalent (analytic discipline a plus) preferred.
11. Minimum of 2 years experience in clinical/biomedical and/or software development environment preferred.
