Location: Hybrid (2 days on site) in Skelmersdale, Lancashire.

Position: Permanent, full-time

Purpose of the Role

We are seeking a skilled Salesforce Developer to manage and configure our Salesforce Sales Cloud and Community Cloud environments. The role involves supporting recruitment and business development processes, ensuring system performance, and promoting user adoption.

Key Responsibilities

1. Configure Salesforce Sales Cloud and Community Cloud, including objects, fields, workflows, validation rules, and flows.
2. Manage user roles, profiles, sharing rules, and security settings.
3. Maintain plugins for Outlook and Calendly for seamless communication tracking.
4. Design and manage Community Cloud for document collection and external engagement.
5. Provide system training and support to users.
6. Monitor system health, perform audits, and troubleshoot issues.

Candidate Profile

We seek a proactive, collaborative team player with strong stakeholder engagement skills, experienced in working within tight-knit teams and leading digital transformation initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have a solid background in Sales Cloud and Experience Cloud, with the following technical expertise:

• Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder
• Salesforce Platform Developer 1

Skills and Experience

• Declarative Expertise: Deep knowledge of configuring objects, fields, validation rules, security models, workflows, and automation tools.
• Experience Cloud: Managing external user roles, sharing settings, community customization, branding, and workflows.
• Mock-up and PoC: Aligning business requirements with Salesforce features and creating initial configurations.
• Data Management: Handling data import/export, deduplication, and validation.
• Custom Development: Experience with Apex, Lightning components, and Salesforce APIs.
• DevOps: Using GitHub.
• Testing & Deployment: Conducting unit tests and managing deployments.
• User Support: Training and troubleshooting post-go-live.
• Project Coordination: Managing timelines and stakeholder communication.
